The Associate will be responsible for managing an independent case load and legal tasks such as drafting, research, and advising clients across litigation and business matters. The ideal candidate will have trial experience but looking to expand their practice into "outside general counsel" matters. Your typical day might be going to court, helping clients prepare for a board meeting, drafting contracts, or researching novel areas of law. Most of our clients are global, so it will help to be curious about things beyond South Carolina.QualificationsAt least 4 years of experience as a practicing attorneyStrong knowledge of corporate law, contract law, and litigationExcellent research, writing, and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and collaborativelyRelentless attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAdmitted to practice in South Carolina, North Carolina, or GeorgiaFluency in Spanish or French is a plus.
