Job Summary:We are seeking one to two associates to join our team in our New York City office. The ideal candidate must be organized and able to handle a high-volume case load, able to develop appropriate defense strategies, receptive to feedback and taking direction but also self-motivated to meet goals in a timely manner. Duties include, but are not limited to, preparing files for defense from inception to resolution, extensive reporting and communication with clients and insurers, conducting depositions, appearing in court and trial preparation.Requirements:Admission to the New York State Bar is a must. Admission to the New Jersey, Florida andor Pennsylvania State Bars, a plus.0 to 6 years of defense litigation experience. Excellent academic credentials.A self-starter with superior research and analytical skills.Superb writing and verbal communication skills.Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.Ability to perform all aspects of the position satisfactorily while working independently and in a team-oriented environment.
