Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Litigation Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-7 years of experience in litigation, with a focus on intellectual property and product liability cases. The successful candidate will have strong deposition experience and must have sat on at least one trial. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex cases alongside experienced attorneys and to contribute to the firm's continued success.Responsibilities:Manage a diverse caseload of litigation matters, including intellectual property disputes, product liability claims, commercial litigation, and antitrust cases.Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and preparation.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Assist with discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, conducting document reviews, and preparing witnesses for depositions.Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and arbitrations.Collaborate with partners and senior associates to develop case strategy and provide strategic advice to clients.Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates on case developments and address any concerns.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Admission to the Illinois State Bar, or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.3-7 years of experience in litigation, preferably with a focus on intellectual property and product liability cases.Strong deposition experience, with the ability to effectively question witnesses and defend clients' interests.Experience sitting on at least one trial from start to finish.Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced mitment to delivering high-quality work product and providing exceptional client service.
