All duties and assignments are to be performed according to departmental and Avant Gardner company policy and procedures.ESSENTIAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Consistently deliver exceptional service to every guest while interacting and entertaining in a professional mannerActively up-selling menu items and limited edition bottle packages in order to maximize salesResponsible for the security and accuracy of Credit Cards, Table Charges and Pre-Authorization according to check opening and closing policiesHandling cash and credit card transactions at the point of saleDelegate duties to table attendantsCommunicate any problems or situations detrimental to property to immediate supervisorMarketing, promoting, and be knowledgeable on specific events that endorse the venue & brandPerffered QualificationsAbility to communicate in English with guests and co-workersConsistently maintain a well-groomed appearance, posture, and hygieneTechnique and style should stay current and in line with current fashion standards and trendsMaintain dialogue with all cultures and ethnicities while upholding a warm, positive, and friendly persona at all timesRequires strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, and mixed cocktailsWilling to work in loud and fast-paced environmentsThe ability to work within a team environmentExperience in bottle service preferred, but not requiredCompensationThe hourly rate for this position is $16 per hour plus tips with applicable tip credit
