Job Description:

The ideal candidate should posses a solid understanding of our sales and service process. As a result be able to prospect potential customers while maintaining and growing existing clientele relationships. Must be safety focused, motivated, organized and lead by example. ResponsibilitiesDirect all sales and technical efforts within the area to meet customer requirementsCommunicate with management and blast crews to ensure the best practice in designing blasts with the correct, safe, and the most effective use of explosivesDevelop and manage sales goals, reviewing progress regularlyRespond professionally and timely to address customers requestMaintain a safe and healthy work environment by assuring safety and regulatory compliance (MSHA, OSHA, ATF, DOT, etc.)SkillsAbilitiesLeadershipStrong communication skillsTime managementProfessionalismIntermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel and Outlook.QualificationsAssociates or Bachelors degree preferred, 3-5 years in related field or equivalent industry experienceWork experience may offset some of the education requirementsGeneral knowledge and understanding explosives technology and basic geologyStrong organizational, communication and analytical skills. Strong understanding of full sales processMust be able to pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosivesLocation preferable to Iowa, Minnesota or Wisconsin though not limited to. Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player.
