A premier global independent investment banking advisory firm is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their Corporate Events team in NYC. This candidate with be exceptionally organized, meticulous, a team player, and maintain a commitment to the success of each event and their team.Responsibilities:The Administrative Assistant will:Monitor Corporate Events mailbox and respond appropriately in timely mannerTrack event requests, maintain team calendarProcess expense reports and invoicesMaintain inventory of event supplies and branded itemsProvide administrative support for events including printing, packing and shippingAssist with light travel booking and meeting schedulingParticipate in various ad-hoc projects and perform other duties as assigned Qualifications:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)Willing to learn some event registration technology (MS Forms and Cvent)Good time management, a sense of urgency, flexibility and ability to manage several projects simultaneously Superior communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oralAbility to develop strong working rapport with employees at all levels of the firm; sensitivity to confidential mattersSound judgment in knowing when to ask for help to prioritize tasks and when to escalate an issueDesired Skills:3+ years of experience in a professional settingcorporate office environmentFamiliarity with high-end food & beverage terms and trendsEnergetic; able to be on your feet for long periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs
