Job SummaryWe are looking for individual to join our client's team as Registered Dietitian. You will be responsible to help patients achieve healthier eating patterns and lifestyles to prevent and treat of chronic diseases. Analyzing patients' health status, goals, and dietary restrictions, tracking clients' dietary intake and progress, and educating patients on how to maintain a balanced diet.Job DescriptionPlans food and nutrition programs, supervises meal preparation and delivery; helps prevent and treat illnesses by promoting healthy eating habits and suggesting diet modifications.Under general supervision of the Associate Director of Nursing and in accordance w with Physician or Physician extender will provide education and guidance with meal planning, care coordination, nutrition evaluation and recommendation.Skills RequiredTwo years' experienceExcellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills.Electronic Medical RecordsCall Detail RecordEducationTrainingCertificationsMinimum Degree Required: Bachelor's DegreeCertificate of Dietic Registration (CDR) - RequiredNY State Office of Professionals Registered License - PreferredPrimary Source Verification - required.AHA BLS - required.Master's degree - preferredAdditional RequirementsMalpractice Insurance - All clinical workers are required to have active individual Medical Malpractice. A copy must be provided prior to start of assignment.
