Job Description:

Venture Solar is hiring a Licensed ME Electrician. As an Electrician in the state of ME, you will be responsible for:Executing plans of electrical wiring for well-functioning PV solar systemsInstalling electrical apparatus, fixtures, and equipmentConnect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of componentsPrepare and assemble conduits and connect wiring through themPerform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair damaged unitsWhat you'll bring:Required valid Electrician license in the state of MEExperience in residential or commercial electrical systems preferredDemonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.) and electrical drawings and blueprintsThorough knowledge of safety procedures and legal regulations and guidelinesExcellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilityExcellent physical condition and flexibility to work long shifts with paid overtimeA valid driver's license is requiredCan work well independently and as part of a teamPhysical Demands:Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to climb ladders and work on pitched residential roofsAbility to work in atticsFull time work 40+ hours, overtime pay for over 40 hours in 1 week.This is a full-time, benefits-eligible role. $55-$60 per hour.
