Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, the VP of Financial Planning & Analysis will provide leadership and oversight of financial analysis, analytical reporting, labor analytics and budgeting for Atlantis. This individual will demonstrate the capabilities of developing and driving the long-term strategic planning processes, annual and quarterly budgets, financial forecasts and analyses, overseeing the development and delivery of management reporting environments, monitoring key performance indicators and driving companywide financial performance initiatives. The position will be based in the US and have direct oversight of the US and Paradise Island based financial analytics team. Main Duties and Responsibilities:Direct oversight of US and PI based employees on the financial analytics team.Drive and oversee the development of and measurement against the Annual Financial Operating Plan.Responsible for financial analysis, identification of month-end financial drivers, and forecasting including headcount planning and labor management to ensure compliance with state requirements.Developing and utilizing data-driven analytics to generate value-added insights and actionable recommendations to drive growth and influence KPIs.Leading the development, monitoring, and reporting of key operational metrics and driving processes to improve consistent productivity and efficiency improvements. Responsible for external monthly and quarterly reporting requirements to Ownership.Perform financial impact analysis for new contracts and support negotiations.Review monthly performance and financial results of the business unit and provide recommendations to senior management.Perform duties as liaison between Brookfield oversight and management and Business Units.Assist with the establishment of financial strategic vision, objectives, policies and procedures in support of the overall strategic plan.Oversee and validate pricing models and lead initiatives to identify inefficiencies and areas of development and improvement.  Skills, Experience & Education Requirements:EducationExperience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration. Master's degree andor CPA strongly preferred.Minimum 10 years' experience in a leadership role in finance, accounting or analyses within the Hospitality, Gaming or Cruise industry.Financial acumen: Knowledge and experience of financial and accounting operations, and all aspects of hospitality financial management including effective budgeting and planning techniques. Complete understanding of revenue management and pricing strategies within the Hospitality or Cruise industry.Strategic acumen: Strong knowledge of financeprocurementprocess improvement best practices, understanding of information management systems and experience to support business objectives. Knowledge of credit ratings and rating agencies.Leadership: Ability to help drive strategic change to meet organizational goals in a continuously changing environment.
