Position: GastroenterologistWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist to join our esteemed medical team. As a Gastroenterologist, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions, contributing to their overall health and well-being.Responsibilities:Perform a mix of hospital-based and clinicprocedure-based work.Diagnose and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, using your expertise in gastroenterology to provide effective treatment plans.Collaborate with interdisciplinary medical teams, including nurses, anesthesiologists, and other specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.Participate in shared on-call duties that are moderate in nature, ensuring continuous patient care and support.Contribute to the care of patients in a 300-bed acute facility, working alongside 4 other GI physicians and additional supporting staff.Manage a busy office and hospital consultative practice, offering specialized care to patients in both settings.Utilize your skills and knowledge to perform a broad base of procedures.Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records, documenting patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes.Qualifications:Medical degree (MD or DO) with specialization in Gastroenterology.Board certification or eligibility in Gastroenterology is required.Valid and unrestricted medical license in NY.Proven expertise in diagnosing and managing gastrointestinal conditions.Strong clinical acumen and diagnostic skills for a variety of gastrointestinal concerns.Excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication with patients, medical staff, and support teams.Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.If you are a dedicated Gastroenterologist looking to provide specialized care to patients with gastrointestinal conditions and contribute to a dynamic medical team, we encourage you to apply.
