Essel Skilled Trades is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic with Valve Experience.What you'll be doing:New installation, retrofit and repair pressure, temperature, differential transmitters, and general process instrumentation pressure, and process control instrumentation at customer's facilitiesCalibration of field instruments such as level, pressure, and temperature transmittersTroubleshoot process control equipment, including motor operated valves, field measurement instruments, and final control devicesPerform MOV diagnosticsTake field measurements which are needed for design of retrofit of MOV mounting hardwareDesign mounting brackets and couplings to connect valves and MOV'sInteract with customers to promote service contractsConduct customer trainingsAssist customers with problem resolutionAssist with shop assembly needs as time permitsRequirementsWhat we're looking for:5+ years of experience as a field service technician, instrumentation technician, andor demonstration of general electricalmechanical competencyA working knowledge of process controls and instrumentationStrong electrical knowledge including ability to read and understand wiring diagrams - single phase, three phase, AC and DC and ability to troubleshoot electrical problemsStrong knowledge in the calibration of field instruments such as level, pressure, and temperature transmittersStrong knowledge of valve actuators including Electric actuators, Pneumatic actuators, and Hydraulic actuatorsBenefitsCompetitive with today's industry
