Specialized Recruiting Group of Walla Walla is searching for both apprentice level and licensed Security System Installation Technicians to come and join an established Walla Walla company. In this role you will be performing service and installation of professional integrated electronic security systems within the IP videoCCTV, access control, emergency communication, and intrusion alarm arenas at various client locations.*Fire Alarm experience a PLUS! (testinginspectioninstallation and service for both conventional and addressable fire alarm systems)Security Systems Apprentice Tech Requirements:Knowledge of current statefederal electrical codes.Have the desire to learn basic system programming skills.Able to understand blueprints, take offs, and as-is stall cabling for security system components and perform final stall and troubleshoot basic wiring for IP video, analog video, access control, intrusion, and fire systems.Security Systems Licensed Tech Requirements:Possess a valid low or high voltage license.Have knowledge of current statefederal electrical codes.Possess factory certifications with CCTV, access control, intrusion alarm andor other security products.Have basic system programming skills.Work with blueprints, take offs, and as-is stall cabling for security system components and perform final stall and troubleshoot IP video, analog video, access control, intrusion, and fire systems.Configure, program, and test TCPIP networks.The following certifications are a plus: MCSE, MICET, CCNA, MCDBA, SQL, Network + Fiber JobsSecurity Systems Techs of all Levels are Required to:Possess a valid driver's license and a good driving record.Occasionally lift an 80 lb. extension ladder.Work 15 to 25 feet above ground.Be familiar with and able to effectively use hand and power tools.Flexibility to work overtime and travel overnight as needed.Ability and desire to learn about CCTVAccess control products and services.The ideal Security Systems Technician will have 2+ years of hands-on experience with a strong understanding of security system solutions and be highly motivated with an eye towards quality and detail.
