They offer complete design, engineering and customer service operations at their facility. They supply the highest level of quality products to the Agricultural, Oil and Gas, Mining, Medical, Defense, Forestry and Lumber, Construction and Material Handling industries. WITH CURRENT AND EXPANDING new business our client is looking for their next PRODUCTION MANAGER to lead this world-class manufacturing facility.Position Summary:Oversees all manufacturing staff and supervisors in attainment of company objectives for safety, quality, and productivity on time and on budget.Directs all manufacturing operations to attain the company's goals and objectives.Provides guidance for the manufacturing plan including personnel, capital equipment, tooling, and facility needs.Reviews, analyzes, and takes corrective action as required in manufacturing to attain all program requirements and piles safety, quality, and productive standards.Ensures all established safety, quality, productivity, costs, and delivery commitments are met.Implements preventative maintenance programs to ensure downtime is minimized.Contributes to development of the company's strategic plan.Provides accurate and timely production reports as required.Fosters innovation and lean manufacturing.Develops manufacturing leadership team who possess the ability to meet the business plan.Works with Finance to develop and execute budgets and cost control plans.Additional responsibilities as the position advances.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain or related degree OR equivalent related work experience.5+ years experience in plant management OR production management.Experience with metal fabrication andor machining a PLUS.Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills.Team player with strong leadership skills.Project management experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Professionalism and sound judgement.For a confidential review please forward a resume.
