Job Description:

Superintendent Construction Manager The Construction Manager (Superintendent) is primarily responsible for executing projects from start to finish; the ability to complete projects on time, within budget, and exceeding customer expectations. The Field Superintendent manages all trades and daily activities related to the project, ensures materials are delivered and installed, and keeps the site clean and safe. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Primary liaison with construction project managersubcontractors for the day-to-day construction activities of the project.Participate in the pre-construction planning sessions by trade to be familiar with the unique characteristics of the schedule and trade interface.Ensure material is delivered to the construction site per the construction schedule.Overseeing work among assigned trades to promote a coordinated project operation.Resolve local area problems regarding procedures, precedence, design clarifications, adequate labor and equipment, schedule and all other appropriate matters.Creating schedules and determining sequencing of work. Advise the Project Manager of circumstances and issues that will have a significant impact on the project scheduleVerify change orders are outside Subcontractors scope of work.Mentor & Develop Assistant Superintendents to become successful spection of Contractor or (sub)Contract operations to ensure compliance with contract REQUIREMENTS :EducationExperience:10+ years of experience in the Construction Management field.SkillsSpecialized KnowledgeAbilitiesKnowledge of industrial construction, means and methods, scheduling and cost control procedures, general contracts, general conditions, subcontract documents, drawings and specifications.Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office suite and Procore.Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedules.Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.Must possess strong technical, communication and computer skills, including email and document managementorganizationTRAVEL: Typically 90% - 100% of the time. Travel is typical to the client's site for the duration of a project or program.
