COMPANY: Financial Advisory FirmPOSITION: Vice President of FacilitiesLOCATION: New York, NYHOURS: 9:00AM - 5:30PM (M-F In Office Full Time to Start)COMPENSATION: Up to $150K DOE + Bonus Eligible*BACHELOR'S DEGREE: RequiredOur client, a leading financial advisory firm, is seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Facilities to lead their organization's facilities management function. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, development, and implementation of policies and procedures related to the efficient operation and maintenance of their facilities. The VP of Facilities will play a crucial role in optimizing facility performance, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.Responsibilities of the Vice President of Facilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities management strategy aligned with the organization's overall objectives.- Drive initiatives to enhance the efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability of facility operations.- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all facilities, including maintenance, security, and janitorial services.- Collaborate with the department head to understand facility requirements and implement solutions that meet operational needs.- Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and optimal resource allocation.- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in facility-related expenses.- Ensure facilities comply with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.- Implement and monitor policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.- Oversee relationships with external vendors and service providers.- Negotiate contracts, manage service level agreements, and evaluate vendor performance.- Support capital projects related to facility expansion, renovation, or upgrades For example, office move in 2024. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.- Build and lead a high-performing facilities management team.- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within the team.Responsibilities of the Vice President of Facilities:- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field required.- Proven experience in a senior leadership role overseeing facilities management with a minimum of 5+ years of experience. - Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance, and safety regulations.- Excellent budget management and financial analysis skills.- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and execution.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.-Verification of identity, education, prior employment, and references may be required.*The salary range posted for this New York City-based position is a good faith estimate.
