The Goals and Challenges of this Role: Experience with quality systems and ISO 9001:2015 standardExperience with codes AWS D1.1Perform product and process improvement to support customer successDevelop documentation of new and existing manufacturing processesWork with Project Managers and production to determine and implement critical to process inspection points throughout processingManage calibration system for all AT&F gaugesIssuing nonconformance reports and providing details for disposition of nonconformancesHandling corrective action requests including determination of root cause, implementation of corrective actions, and performance of follow-up activitiesAbility to manage positive customer relationsPerformance of audits to quality system for identification of deficiencies and improvementsProcess receiving inspections and validate material test reports to required specificationsTrain Quality System requirements to all Team Members of Business UnitsDevelop and execute 1st article requirementsDevelop inspection plans for existing and new productsProvide technical support for the production team utilizing knowledge of manufacturing equipment, assembly techniques, and quality control.Collecting and analyzing data to drive process improvementsProvide training of team members on proper inspection techniques & blue print readingDevelop tooling, fixtures, drawings and procedures working with internal resources as well as external vendorsOther duties assigned as the business needs changeWhat You Should Bring to this Role:3-5 years of quality experience in a manufacturing industryPreferred BS degree in areas related to manufacturing Preferred NDENDT QualificationsPreferred AWS CWI certificationDemonstrated ability to lead and drive change through the organization.Proficiency with MS Office tools and inspection equipment
