Hire Professionals has an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer for one of our employee owned clients in Charlottesville, VA.Job Summary:The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for planning and design of mechanical systems, including HVAC and plumbing associated with construction projects that will meet customer needs in the most value-added manner. This also includes the development of standards and procedures along with evaluation of mechanical matters in the field of commercial construction.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical EngineeringMust possess Mechanical P.E. in VA; Licensed Mechanical P.E. in both VA and NC a plusGreat computational and spatial ability while maintaining attention to detailAdvanced working knowledge of plans, prints, specifications, and schematics and principlesExceptional computer skills including working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit and other engineering softwarePossess excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently with a teamwork mentalityCandidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable lawsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color,religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran
