Candidates for employment must be legally authorized to work in the US, able to pass both pre-employment drug testing and a criminal background check.The Quality Assurance Inspector's main role is to ensure parts are visually and dimensionally conforming to customer drawings, specifications and other documented instructions. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quality as a dimensional quality inspector, Calypso program creation and operation, intermediate understanding of GD&T and able to interpret industry standards.Duties include but are not limited to: Performing first article, in-process and final inspections.Measuring parts with calibrated, precision equipment. Some of the devices include: manual vision system, CMM, calipers, micrometers, thread Gages, profilometer, optical comparator, etc. Daily communication with department lead and operators on priorities.Able to interpret and communicate inspection results with manufacturing personnel.Ensure work is controlled and documented as defined by the QMS and customer requirements (i.e. traveler is signed off, non-conforming product is marked, tools are in calibration prior to inspection, in-process dimensions are reported, etc..)CMM operation and light programming.Wage: Hourly, $22-$30 + 10% shift differential Type: Full-TimeShift: Swing, 3pm-11:30pm
