The company's services include excavation & earthwork, paving, commercial construction, concrete, utilities, and large-scale demolition.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role located in Nacogdoches, TX. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will be responsible for repairing and maintaining all types of heavy equipment used for construction projects. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will ensure all equipment is operating efficiently, troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed, perform preventative maintenance on equipment, diagnose equipment issues, and perform necessary repairs on all types of heavy equipment.Qualifications5+ years experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar roleStrong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systemsProficiency in the diagnosis and repair of heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, motor graders, backhoes, and skid-steer loadersExperience with Caterpillar, Komatsu, and John Deere equipment preferredBasic welding and fabrication skillsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and hydraulic diagramsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training or degree program preferredValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredApply here:
