Job Description:

Job Purpose:This incumbent will originate, structure an execute aviation finance transactions with focus on aircraft manufacturers, airlines, and lessors.Job Responsibilities:Managing client relationshipsIdentify and originate new client relationships in aviation industryIdentify credit needs of the client and determine appropriate aviation finance product choice to satisfy these needs, prepare credit proposals, and obtain credit limits in accordance with bank's guidelinesMaintain active calling schedule and prepare call reportsNegotiate term sheets pricing with client, as well as credit agreement and other documentation to manage risk appropriatelyMonitor client's credit status and the state of their business activities on an ongoing basisMeet business targets set by the departmentCoordinate with operation teams to support the transactionProduct MarketingOriginate business from target existing clients.Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data and pricing guidance from the BankProvide updates to departmentbranch management about marketing efforts, deals in pipeline and closed transactions.Cross-sell other bank products and deposit services.Develop new products to support client requirementsCompliance and Risk ManagementDevelop new products and onboard new customers in line with the Bank's risk appetite statementProvide KYC information to Middle Office for reviewComply with bank policies (Credit Risk, Compliance, New Product Management, etc.) and departmental procedures for KYC and Credit Risk Control (including underwriting and post-lending monitoring)Set up customer profile and updatereview in a timely mannerComply with departmental compliance and risks control procedures when accepting customers' transactionsDetect red flagsunusual activities and inform Middle Office, escalating as necessaryKeep abreast of compliance knowledge by attending trainings and seminarsOtherMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.Prepare presentation materials for training, marketing events and meetingsConduct trainings as and when requiredJob Requirements:Bachelor's Degree preferred in Finance Economics AccountingEngineering Sciences Liberal Arts, MBA preferredMinimum 5 years at the AVP level and 8 years at the VP level of Banking experience, including at least 2 years at the AVP level and 5 years at the VP level of Structured Financing experience, as well as product managerrelationship manager experienceDemonstrate excellent communication and relationship management skillsDemonstrate solid financial and credit analysis skills, as well as ability to read, write, analyze and interpret general business documentsThe salary ranges for the AVP position is $65,000-$150,000, and for the VP position is $110,000-$230,000. Actual salary is commensurate with candidate's relevant years of experience, skillset, education and other qualifications.
