Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY:As an Intern with L'Occitane en Provence North America you will undertake work on our different Data projects. You will report directy to the Regional Director of Integration & Data.L'Occitane group has built an ambitious Datahub program with the set up of a Datalake (Snowflake solution) to cover the analytical needs and a Master Data Management (MDM) for operational needs around the client data. To drive the development of our data, the Data Intern will have the role to develop diversified projects on different business domains : Customers, Supply and Finance.The Data Intern will work on projects such as customer knowledge using Machine Learning, data information capture using API and ETL, Customer data quality or Supply reporting.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Work on the MDM platform to develop data quality dashboard, data engineering to enhance our customer data capture information for retail channelsPartner with Digital IT Team to develop technical flows in systems - MDM, CEGID, SalesforceWork on Machine learning scoresto improve our customer knowledgeKEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:Data accuracyProject completion in timely mannerProject deliverablesREQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION:Currently pursuing a bachelor's master's degree in Computer ScienceEXPERIENCE:Prior internship experience with Data science andor data projects and developmentSKILLS: SQL (good knowledge and experience)Data modelizationData flows (ETL, API)PythonPHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:Hybrid or on site at NY officeAvailable from June to end of August.BENEFITS INCLUDE: Competitive Compensation at $19-$21hourSchool Credit OfferedA warm, open, fun, and friendly work environment Generous L'Occitane employee discounts
