Title: Engineer I - Mechanical Engineering Location: DE - WilmingtonContract Duration: 12 monthsQualifications:BS in Mechanical Engineering5+ years of designengineering experienceHands-on experience in electro-mechanical product design, development, and implementationProficiency in SolidWorks (preferred) or PTC Creo for 3D modeling and 2D drawingsKnowledge of machine design technologies including pneumatic actuators, motion control systems, power transmission, sensors, machine vision, and sealing technologiesExperience in controls engineering, electrical design, and programming (preferred)Ability to work respectfully in a culturally diverse environmentResponsibilities: This role involves providing engineering, design, and integration support in developing First-Of-A-Kind machinery for manufacturing and R&D, as well as Application Engineering for E&I materials.Specific responsibilities include:Conceptual development and rapid prototyping of machinery and robotic systemsDetailed design of mechanical systems and hardwarePrecision assembly and testing of mechatronic systemsDocumentation and presentation of designs and project updatesManaging multiple tasks with frequent changes in scope and priorityAdhering to safety standards and proceduresProgramming of automated equipment
