Job Description:

The Site EHS Manager is responsible for ensuring each Carlisle Construction Material site is compliant with applicable CCM environment, health and safety policies and procedures. The specific reporting structure, department, classification, and additional non-safety related duties of this role all vary by plant and CCM Division.Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and possibly administer safety training for employees (including sales personnel, office, etc.)Ensuring timely accidentincident investigations and ensure timely reporting to plant managementMaintain site's emergency action plan(s)Coordinate site's confined space, lockout, respiratory and hearing programsSchedule, lead, and be actively involved in safety committee meetingsMaintain and manage a master list of environmental, health and safety corrective actions generated from the site's EH&S processConduct the annual review of site-specific EH&S safety policies and update them as neededMaintain Hazcom requirements and keep SDS data currentCoordinate Industrial Hygiene surveys as required (air, noise, ergonomics, etc.)Ensure that potential EH&S aspects (chemical, guarding, LOTO, fall, confined space, ergonomic, noise...) are reviewed for all new processes, materials, and equipment before useCoordinate the site's mobile equipment programCoordinate site's new employee and temporary labor safety on-boarding trainingParticipate in safety condition walks and help administer any safe behavior observationsParticipate in other CCM EH&S initiatives and programs andor coordinate key element of any safety process that is specific to the facility such as process safety management PSMParticipation in the COS program through CarlisleRequirements:Will to receive any CCM policy and OSHA trainingFirst AidCPRAED certifiedExperience with computers and proficiency with Microsoft Office suiteExcellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills requiredPrior experience interacting with coworkers at all levels from shop floor to Plant ManagersAbility to act in a self-confident manner to facilitate completion of a work assignmentPrior leadership experience and ability to motivate employeesComfortable with presenting effectively in front of small and large groupsAble to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problemsEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in environmental health safety or Engineering preferred. Minimum 3 years of managing EHS preferred.
