Job Description:

Project Engineer I is responsible for executing against key milestones and deliverable timelines. This role requires client-facing interaction with project teams in meeting aggressive timelines and delivering effective client solutions.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and innovation of RGBSI A&D branded solutions and offerings to be used across DoD and commercial industry sectorsConduct and review analyses of part production processes, schedules, methods, and other data to better understand future requirements needed for customers' manufacturing processesProvide technical direction for additive manufacturing projects around problem definition, analysis, requirements development, and implementation for complex systems or issuesAssist with manufacturing preparation for additive manufacturing projectsDrive technical execution of projects around focus areas of Industry 4.0 Digital Factory Model Based Enterprise Advanced Manufacturing Additive ManufacturingPerform accurate professional documentation and presentation of technical data, analyses, and reportsReview manufacturing instructions, methods, and processes to identify and improve customer efficiencyDevelop process strategy documentation outlining the technical and process changes and analysesSupport active feedback between customers and the RGBSI A&D team to drive improvementsPartner effectively with RGBSI A&D project program management, technical team, and customer to deliver according to agreed plans and schedulesDemonstrated ability to take ownership of issues as they arise and initiate corrective actionsAbility to manage deliverables and execute tasks with minimal oversightWork with end-user groups to evaluate and solve technical problemsRequirementsBachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering2+ years related engineering experienceAbility to handle multiple projects and deadlines concurrently2+ years experience with CAD Software, especially PTC Creo or Siemens NXExpertise in GD&TExperience with assembly and testing of machined, forgedcast, or fabricated aerospace partsExperience with design for manufacturing, assembly, reliability, and costDemonstrated time management and project management skillsSkills to communicate complex ideas effectively and work with business and technical stakeholdersExcellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and influential skillsAvailability for travel to customer locations as required; estimated at up to 30% - client dependentDesired QualificationsExperience with additive manufacturing processesUnderstanding of PPAP through PPAP Level 5LEAN, Six Sigma, or other process certifications
