They will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and share their conceptual and practical expertise related to the QHSES Assurance discipline. They solve complex problems and use discipline-specific knowledge to improve their products or services. The Senior QHSES Assurance Specialist impacts a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities with the QHSES Assurance team and other related teams and ensures that they work within the appropriate guidelines and policies.Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Support the development and establishment of the new management systemPartner with Functional Process Subject Matter Experts to drive major Quality Systems initiativesIdentify and work with Quality Directors to resolve complex issues that have implications beyond the functional areaQC system attribute for the documents to ensure quality reporting from the systemAssist Functional Process Subject Matter Experts in the withdrawal of legacy practices from existing systemsAdminister training for new team membersParticipate in the design, implementation, and enforcement of company document templates for the development or revision of all documentsInterface with Functional Process Subject Matter Experts and advice on best practices for the creation of documents and organization within the management systemReport and status progress as required by the execution plan and requested by ManagementDemonstrate solid and consistent communication within and across functions, with the ability to persuade staff to change their way of working to incorporate quality management methodsPlan, develop, organize, write, and edit engineering and company procedures and other related documentsAnalyze the documents to maintain the continuity of the style of contentSuggest modifications to documents to make them easier to understandManage updates and revisions to technical literaturePerform quality check of documents with an emphasis on sentence structure, grammar, and spellingPrepare and review procedures and work instructionsProvide project bids support related to quality upon requestPerform audits (internal and external) as per plan monthly & report timely results reportsOversee the KPI, QI, and Performance Quality process, trend analysis, and initiate ground-level documentation and understanding for benchmarking and lessons learned within the operating units Analyze trends and measured data to assist in setting targets, future planning, and establishing action plans for improvement and effective follow-up to verify complianceLead and perform RCA for quality-related issuesEssential Qualifications and Education:Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study8+ years of relative industry experience related to EPC construction or fabricationAbility to work as a team member as well as act as a team leaderAbility to understand and positively respond to organizational demands in a continuously changing business environmentDemonstrate strong decision-making skillsStrong analytical and organizational skills for evaluating trending dataMust have strong interpersonal skills to work with other departments in a tactful and effective mannerCommunication and presentation skills, both written and spokenComputer literate in Microsoft programs: Word, Visio, PowerPoint, and ExcelStrong attention to detailSkilled at prioritization and multi-taskingAble to write in explanatory and procedural styles for multiple audiencesDocument Management is a plusCompetent in dealing with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization may existPossesses a strong understanding of LeanContinuous Improvement concepts, principles, and practiceISO9001, AS9100, AS9110, or other globally recognized Quality Management Systems Internal Auditor training preferredTranslate concepts and information into simplified written and visual instruction or training material.
