We do that by providing both remote and onsite services in more than 300 languages, for over 6,000 clients with a diverse and highly experienced staff, and over 5,000 contract interpreters.Quality interpretation is critical to our shared success, and it is only possible by bringing in the best interpreters in the industry.We have an immediate need for a Qualified On-Site Interpreter in the WillmarArea.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide interpretation on-site at various client locationsPrecisely and accurately interprets critical information given by Propio's clients into pre-determined target language(s)Complies with applicable ethics and terprets in a timely and accurate manner for the consumerfamily members in a wide variety of settingsEstablishes and maintains quality service and positive interaction with all patients, customers, visitors, health care providers, and clinical employees.Maintains strict patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, FERPA, GLBA andor regulatory requirements or policies and standards.Participates, as a condition of hire, in continuing annual educational programs by PropioCompletion of daily activity logs and other documentation.Ability to work a flexible schedule.Perform evaluations and meet quality specifications, as requested, and outlined by the Quality Assurance DepartmentOther duties as assignedRequired QualificationsMust be at least 18years of ageHigh school diploma or GED equivalent1+ years of relevant Spanish interpreting experienceIntermediate level computer skillsAccess to reliable transportationAbility to provide documentation of updated vaccinations to include but not limited to: TB, MMR, Varicella, Hep B (or declination), TDAP and Seasonal Influenza (Flu) (optional) and Covid (optional)Successful completion of MDH Roster as well as a background checkPreferred QualificationsMedical andor legal interpreting experienceSoft SkillsExcellent resourcefulness, ownership, and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communicationOutstanding customer service and professional behaviorAbility to manage confidential and sensitive informationAbility to work both independently and within a team to meet deadlines.Fluency in relevant language(s).Excellent English verbal and written skillsStrong interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation.Demonstrates excellent listening skillsAbility to interact and communicate with people over the telephone, video, in person, often in stressful or difficult situationsDemonstrates ability to follow directions and contributes to problem-solving
