Job Description:

Our Minnetonka Sylvan Learning Center is looking for Math instructors, primary instuction would be Math K-12 but might also include Reading instruction. We are looking for teachers to work part time 2-3 afternoonevenings per week and some Saturdays 9-1. Our teachers are trained to use the Sylvan curriculum and given the tools to teach in an individualized setting. No lesson planning required allowing you to focus on the personalized instruction in a positive small group environment. Math instruction can also include homework help where you would be required to have background knowledge and strength in teaching a specfic type of Math, but this is not a requirement for the job. QualificationsSylvan prefers a licensed teacher with a background in education, however we do not require it. Experience working with students in an educational setting and the ability to work with a variety of ages and grades is preferred.
