The role contributes significantly to the development and refinement of the RAVE In-flight Entertainment (IFE) software portfolio.Duties and Responsibilities:Lead architecture, design, and implementation of software features in technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, NodeJS, TypeScript, React, and QtDevelop and improve testing strategies employing Jest, SAST, DAST, and Vulnerability ScanningCollaborate with the DevOps team to improve CICD pipelines, incorporating tools like Jenkins and BitbucketContribute to the software containerization and orchestration using Docker and KubernetesMentor junior and mid-level engineers, reviewing their code and providing constructive feedbackAssist in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning of the softwareWork closely with business analysts and project managers to deliver solutions that meet customer requirementsFollow and contribute to Agile methodology and team processesRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience in a related field7-10 years of software development experienceProficient in JavaScript, HTML5, NodeJS, TypeScript, and React. Familiarity with Qt is a plusExperience with testing frameworks and methodologies, including Jest and various security scanning toolsKnowledge in GraphQL and Swagger for API development is advantageousFamiliarity with Docker and KubernetesPrevious experience in IFE or similar industries is a plus
