Job Summary:Our client is seeking a Construction Manager to join their team in Boydton, Virginia! The main function of this role is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems, product roll-out, etc.Duties:Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activitiesPresent and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clientsRecruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competenceAnalyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projectsConfer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and proceduresReview and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimatesDesired SkillsExperience:Bachelor's Degree in business administration or a related field5+ years of relevant work experience requiredPMI or PMP certification preferredKnowledge of computer software, such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio etc.Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methodsBenefits:Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance Plans401K offered
