We are looking for an Operations Manager at our Marion, IA. location. Our Operations Managers are confident, competitive, innovative, and have a sense of urgency when it comes to supporting their team and the business process. The responsibilities are broad in scope, encompassing a wide variety of activities requiring rapid shift priorities, direct leadership, and driving consistent results. Optimize operational productivity and efficiencies while maximizing gross margin Support Business Development and Administrative team members in driving profitable plant performanceTrain staff as needed Collaborates with and works alongside the team on the plant floor. Minimum of 90% of time spent on the floor. This is not an office job. Keys to Success:Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field and previous P&L responsibility preferred3-5 years in an operations management role preferred WarehouseManufacturingExperience with P&L responsibility preferredStrong leader of people and able to get buy-in from all members of the team.High level of confidence in making business decisions.Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to support maintenance functionsHighly effective written and oral communication skills coupled with proven team development experienceAbility to be flexible with schedule to support our day and overnight shifts.
