Job Description:

Position ResponsibilitiesAssists in leadership of a manufacturing facility department focused on delivering world class sustainable performanceEnsures safety, health and environmental compliance.Directly supervises, motivates and evaluates a team of hourly employees who are responsible for operations involving food production and packaging activities, materials, and warehousing.Provides guidance to department for continuous improvement initiatives.Provides adequate support, training and development of department staff.Implements Food Safety Quality Control functions to meet the Company's Quality System requirements.Work Experience RequirementsProfessional Experience - 5+ years' total professional operations leadership experience with progressive responsibility and growth.Food or Similar Industry Experience - Food, beverage, pharmaceutical or CPG industry experience in a complex manufacturing environment preferred or a combination of food manufacturing with manufacturing experience in other similar industries preferred.Continuous Improvement - Demonstrated track record of understanding and applying continuous improvement principles and practices including the use of root cause analysisQuality - Ideal candidate must have had a track record of responsibility for managing to high-quality standards including GFSI in Food Industry or ISO in non-food industry.Spanish proficiency preferred.Culture FitThe candidate who will be a strong motivational cultural fit should demonstrate a high degree of the following leadership traits:Adaptability - Ability to read and adapt to their environment and flex their style and approach based on the context.
