The focus is to make a major impact in the mission-critical data center industry across North America. You will also call on Hyperscale Colo data center customers and upgrade their existing end-of-life mechanical systems with the most cost effective and efficient technology available. The ideal candidate must possess contacts in the Data Center Critical Facilities Semi-Conductor Industries. They will call on established clients and prospect for new accounts. The BD Manager is responsible for attaining revenue goals. A proven track record of consultative data center solutions sales skills is a must, along with a strong background in industrial level HVAC Cooling mechanical solutions including Heat Exchangers a big plus!Responsibilities:Pursue opportunities directly with Data Center End Users Customers - Colocation Providers, Hyperscale Companies, Enterprise DC's that have upcoming projects in the US with a primary focus of selling data center mechanical cooling solutionsManage relationships with partners, engineering firms, GCs, and client contacts to stay aware of any new upcoming projectsFPLC - Full project life cycle sales experience - tracking down the opportunity, managing the client, managing the entire project from inception to completion, billing, and collectionsMeet regional sales objectives by forecasting sales, making sales targets and quotas to meet growth objectivesApproach the sale as a consultative solutions sale and cultivate the sale as the sales process could be 6-18 monthsAbility to schedule sales meetings and presentations with qualified decision makers in person or on TeamsResponsible for weekly and monthly reporting to improve pipeline qualification and quality of opportunities pursuedMonitor and discuss the progress of the sales opportunities with sales and senior leadershipResponsible for Scope and Proposal development, perform site surveys and provide scope solutions for customer issuesUtilize the companies CRM tool to track, report, and manage all sales activitiesAttend events data center critical facilities trade shows and trade association meetings to facilitate networking opportunities - DCD, 7x24 Exchange, DataCenterWorld, BisNow DICE, etc.Qualifications:Strong professional network in the Data Center Critical Facilities Market a must as you will be pursuing opportunities with: Hyperscale, Colo, Enterprise Data Centers Clients, and Semi-conductor ContactsHave an Established network of: Resellers, Engineering Firms, Manufacturer's Reps, Construction Firms, Design Build, Firms to help foster leads for any future prospective DC ProjectsBusiness Contacts Rolodex with desired audience: Critical Facility Executives: C Level (as needed), VP of IT, Director of Facilities, Facilities Managers, etc.BA or BS a plus5 to 10 yrs.+ of relevant mechanical cooling solution sales experience with cooling towers, chillers, heat exchangersMust be a team player and be able to build long-term cooperative partner relationships with internal and external individuals who are part of the business development processActive members of business organizations such as 7x24 Exchange, DCD, iMasons, AFCOM, ASHRAE, Uptime, Bisnow, etc.Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritizeMust be able to demonstrate a sustained track record of business development accomplishments as related to new business opportunitiesProficient with Customer relationship management platforms (CRM)Proficient with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.) a MUSTRequired travel as needed and candidate should be near a major airportSubmittal Instructions:Please apply directly by clicking the link below, alternatively you can forward your resume directly to: apply directly: After applying, if you have further questions, you may call 973-895-5200 and ask for Iggy.
