A healthcare network in Virginia is currently seeking a new, licensed Dentist to join their growing team in Boydton.About the Opportunity:Start Date: ASAPAssignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire)Schedule: Monday to ThursdayHours: 8am to 6pmPatient Population: Adults (occasional Pediatric cases)EMR: eClinicalWorksResponsibilities:The Dentist will:Provide general and comprehensive dentistry services and supervise dental and clinical staffAssist with the development, implementation and monitoring of clinical dental policies and proceduresDiagnose and evaluate dental conditions and maintaining accurate dental records to support diagnoseevaluationInterpret x-rays and treat mouth diseases; provide restorations and other treatment as neededPerform emergency procedures on patients to reduce or eliminate painAssess treatment options and agree on treatment plan with patientsInstructeducate patients in oral hygiene and dental careAssist with the development and implementation of Dental Quality AssuranceTrain and evaluate assigned Dental staffPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:1+ year of experience in Human Social ServicesDoctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS)Desired Skills:Experience in a Healthcare environmentTraining or direct experience in counseling, interviewing, service plan development, decision making, and information and referral service
