Job Description:

Overall Responsibility:Responsibilities include coordinating and monitoring trade contractor construction activities. May involve on site management of one or more construction disciplines (Electrical, Communications, Electronic Safety and Security etc.).Essential Functions:Monitor construction schedules, cost estimates, and monthly construction progress reports.Contribute in developing technical solutions to constructability or construction issues.Attend periodic progress meetings.Prepare daily field reports summarizing progress of construction and measuring payment quantities.Prepare test reports, including accident reports, municate with team members on ongoing construction related pare approved shop drawings with materials being delivered and installed as part of the work.Review Contractor proposed modifications with team members.Help resolve construction related conflicts.Review work is being performed in compliance with the contract documents.Issue deficiency reports for any defective work.Perform walkthrough inspections and prepare punch list for any remaining work.Secondary Functions:Exercise independent judgment and evaluation.Professional demeanor.Ability to communicate with team members on task and projects.Needed Skills:Strong Professional, Technical, Communication, and Leadership skills needed.Strong written and verbal communications skills.Ability to create and maintain productive relationships with employees, clients, and vendors.EducationExperience Minimum:Minimum of eight years construction management andor craft supervision experience in similar facility construction.Preferred experience: airport terminal buildings, airport terminal facilities and systems at a medium andor large air carrier airport.OSHA 30-hour training
