Short call shift once or twice a week 11p-3a. Primarily based on the West Main campus but can be floated to east or CVI OR. No in house call rooms avail for travelers. Holiday Requirements: Yes, traveler will need to work at least 1 major or minor holiday during rotation. For example if Memorial, July 4 and Labor Day were on their 13 week contract, they would need to work one holiday. The holiday also includes the weekend, for example they would be responsible for Sat and Sun prior to Memorial Monday. They could be working or on call for that holiday and weekend. Unit Specialty: Neuro (spine and cranial), ortho (trauma and spine), solid abdominal organ transplant (kidney, pancreas, liver), complex ENT, acute trauma (motor vehicle accident, high impact trauma), Da Vinci XI robotics (thoracic, gen surg) Total # of Unit BedsSuitesDeliveries: 25 OR's on West campus Qualifications: MA RN license- CPR- AHA - 2 years related work experience required MINIMUM!! Travel Exp. required!! Basic familiarity with computers. Ability to navigate at a basic level within web-based applications. -EMR exp required Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a teaching hospital and specialty area expertise OR West consists of 10 operating rooms and focuses on Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery. The team cares for patients undergoing a wide variety of surgical procedures including bariatric, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic trauma, spine, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, and kidney and liver transplants. NO local travelers will be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility) Orientation is weekly (every Monday barring a holiday) NM to interview and offer Please provide dates and times available for interview at time of submission ALL RTO REQUESTS MUST BE PRESENTED AT TIME OF SUB Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as TRAVEL, perm or per diem within the last year will not be accepted - MUST be separated from facility for one year to be considered.
