GeneralLead the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, & Fire protection (MEP) systems and coordination to achieve the project goalsSupport the collective in-house MEP professionals to drive continuous improvement from project pursuits to turnoverGet WorkSupport the Client Executive in project pursuitsSupport RFP responses and interviewsGenerate Client & AE relationshipsPlay a key role in the preconstruction effort through GMP as requestedRequirementsBuild WorkIn conjunction with the project team, this position guides, expedites, and administers the MEP Systems to maintain the budget, and safety while meeting the project schedule and quality requirementsMaintain Client and AE relationships throughout the project cycle and beyondAssist in resolution of major project issues with the Project Manager SuperintendentAssist, support, and be accountable for the Operations ReportAbility to coordinate, interact andor direct field labor, subcontractors, vendors, clients, and architectsMaintain client objectives, ensure needs are addressed and continued client relations and beyond project completionMonitor, guide and mentor progress and performance of project team to grow the knowledge base on the function and integration of MEP systemsEstablish the project communications methods and protocolCoordinate and lead project meetings to discuss critical issues and foresee potential exposures, strategies and resolve issuesVerify existing project conditions and build into schedule, logistics and scopesDevelop strategies to incorporate project safety plan into schedule, logistics and scopesAbility to identify risks and develop strategic plansManage the contract document development phase understanding the agreement and develop preliminary construction schedulesSupport the project team through scope review meetingsUnderstand and enforce each trade subcontractor's agreement implementing boiler plate languageSupport the Project Manager to include AIA Monthly Requisitions for Owner and Subcontractor, allowances, contingencies, options, cost reports, projections, fees, and expensesOversee and develop collectively with the project team the project program for systems startup, testing, AHJ inspections, Commissioning, Training to achieve the Project requirements while incorporating the client's expectations as a best-in-class process that supports their programBuild PeopleParticipate in employee annual performance reviews as requestedCommitted to teach, guide, and enhance the skillset of the MEP Assistant Project Managers, and MEP Project Engineers, assigned to themCommitted to self-improvement through technical and leadership trainingReports ToClient Executive, Sr. Project Manager, Project Manager andor Sr. MEP Project ManagerWork collectively with the Preconstruction Managers, Director of Estimating and Director of Purchasing throughout the preconstruction phaseWork collectively with Sr. Vice President of Operations, Sr. Vice President of Construction, Vice President of Preconstruction, and project team to achieve company goalsBenefitsDIMEO CONSTRUCTION COMPANY IS AN AFFIRMATIVE ACTIONEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYEE
