As proficiency is gained, this position will provide input on controls, new processes, and advice on process efficiencies that can be attained. The role is part of the IPG Corporate Finance team and reports to the Accounting Manager. Key Responsibilities Manage account reconciliation process for multiple accounts including banks, disbursements, and payroll accountsReconcile general ledger accounts with various registers and sub-ledgers and ensure timely clearing of all reconciling itemsPrepare intercompany reconciliations as neededParticipate in month-end, quarterly and annual financial closing cyclesEnsure timeliness and accuracy of financial tasksPrepare and analyze journal entriesStreamline processes for efficiency and identify cost savings opportunities throughout the Business UnitAssist with external and internal control auditsAssist in special projects as needed EducationExperience Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldMinimum 2+ years of relevant accountingfinance experienceSolid understanding of generally accepted accounting principlesManufacturing industry and cost accounting experienceSAP, AX or similar ERP system knowledgeexperienceAdvanced MS Office Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)Strong attention to detail, producing high-quality products and meeting deadlines What CRH Offers You Highly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsA diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion About CRH CRH has a long and proud heritage.
