BCI is a great place to work with many long-term employees and stable employment opportunities with the potential for advancement.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the scheduling, bid review & implementation for the electrical estimating processes.Identifies labor, material, and time requirements from electrical drawings, on site walk downs, construction plans and related putes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.Presents prepared estimate by combining numerical data and descriptive information in a clear, concise proposal.Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction personnel to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.Maintains company's proprietary cost database by entering and backing-up data.Maintains technical knowledge by attending project walk-throughs and interfacing with client.Review material and labor requirements to decide whether it is more cost effective to produce or purchase components.Reviews scope of work with client prior to contract execution.Continual process improvement as it relates to Estimating.This position may require some local travel with overnight stays.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications3+ years of commercial electrical estimating experienceProven ability of successfully obtaining profitable projects for the companyProficient in AccubidAbility to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced work environmentAbility to provide a high level of customer service
