Job Description:

This is a great opportunity to join a company that just secured financing to accelerate their growth. They operate in the retail space and currently have roughly 400 employees throughout several states. The CFO will work closely with the CEO to drive the business operationally and strategically through this rapid expansion.The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, compliance, and tax optimization.This person can work in Orange County, the Bay Area, or Santa Barbara. They are open to a hybrid arrangement, a few days on-site and the rest remote.ResponsibilitiesCreate and present financial and tax strategy recommendations to CEOSupport the financial planning and analysis effortsOversee cash flow, cash management, working capital, and company auditsPrepare financial statements and reportsEnsure legal compliance on all financial functionsManage relationships with banksQualificationsStrong finance-based analytical skills7 - 10 years' of finance experienceCPA or MBA preferred but not requiredBrick and mortar retail experience highly desiredExperience working through private equity transactions
