Job Description:

Arizona Tile is currently seeking a Credit Manager to be based in our Tempe location. In this position, you will work closely with the Accounting Director to be responsible for maximizing the Company's sales and profitability through timely, accurate and courteous handling of Customer credit accounts. This position addresses tight deadlines, requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to make sound decisions. Additionally, the position is responsible for the supervision of the Accounts Receivable department. This is a full-time, salaried, on-site position.Requirements:Bachelor's degreeCPA preferredStrong Accounting Background with 2+ years' experience, preferable in construction creditHigh-level of accuracy with strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple deadlines.Strong interpersonal communication skills both written and verbalStrategic decision-making skillsEpicor's Prophet 21 software experience a plusCertCapture - AvaTax experience a plusStrongadvanced Computer Skills, including:Strong Excel SkillsKnowledge of Sequel, preferredPivot TablesSpreadsheet ServerReport Writer, preferredExpectations:Strong understanding of accounting principles, including:Multi State Credit ExperienceAccount Reconciliations - willingness to do detailed work.Audit ExperienceFinancial ExperienceAssessing potential customers' creditworthiness and conduct review of existing customers to optimize sales.Solicit timely payments on customer accounts by making collection calls, emails andor facsimile and work with collections agencies andor attorneys, as needed.Manage staff responsible for: in-putting receivable daily, including data entry and reconciliation of data to ensure the accuracy of all payments; Balancing daily cash drawer closings; and making collection calls.Process new Credit Applications and maintain Job Accounts. Perform predictive analytics on existing balance to identify future problem areas.Maintain pre-liens filings, waiversreleases, and communicate with Sales Department.Produce timely and accurate "end of month" reports. Support the department with management of excel databases.Maintaining documentation of all correspondence.Exhibits professionalism.
