Job Title: AccountantLocation: Rancho Cucamonga, CAPosition Type: Contract to HireWork Schedule: HybridExperience: Three (3) or more years of full-cycle accounting experienceLHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accountant for a contract-to-hire position in Rancho Cucamonga, California. The compensation is $31-$40hour, based on experience.Responsibilities:Performing month-end close duties (journal entries, financial statements, & management reports)Ensuring accounting controls by managing assigned balance sheet accounts, performing account reconciliations with supporting workpapersPreparing, analyzing, and reporting the monthly Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) and revenue journal entries.Creating and maintaining work-papers as requested by outside financial auditors.Analyzing and reporting on trend and budget vs. actual variances.Assisting in reading and interpreting DHCS and CMS contractual language to apply to areas of responsibilities (i.e. revenue rate changes).Calculate and reconcile of sales tax for the Board of Equalization.Reconciling intergovernmental transfers (IGT) on regular intervals and distributing related funds to county hospitals. Experience Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in AccountingFinancerelated field is required.Three (3) or more years of accounting experience, including experience assisting with financial audits.Experience working with a large ERP system.
