You will bid and manage long term customer relationshipspartnerships with targeted mechanical contractors, MEP consultants and building owners to secure new construction opportunities. HWhat You'll Be Doing:Meeting with end users, contractors and engineers to present on BCI's experiences and expertiseServing customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.Reviewing plans and specifications in order to produce estimates for projectsPerforming walk throughs of existing facilities to identify solutions and provide estimatesWorking with prime contractors to develop scope and communicate on bid dayWorking with electrical subcontractors giving clear scope and direction in order to receive install numbersWorking with consulting engineers to influence specificationsContributing to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Creating detailed proposals for bid dayNegotiating bids with customers and contractors Meetingexceeding sales goalsCreating competitive, accurate, high quality and timely estimates, bids, proposals, and costbenefit analysisEffectively writing, presenting and communicating bidsNegotiating value, addressing resistance when demonstrated and closing the sale with optimal profit levels.Recommending which bids to pursue based on a mixture of quantitative and qualitative informationAnalyzing customer needs with the help of a managerEffectively partner with companywide team members to accurately quantify materials and labor costsWorking closely with customers, architects and engineers to ensure satisfaction and provide technical supportPreparing pre-design documentation and budgeting for customers Working collaboratively with all team members to ensure a smooth transition from prospect status to client statusConducting post sale follow up and turnover with internal teams to ensure all sales agreements have been accomplished per company standards, and customers are fully satisfiedMaintaining overall account management responsibilities for assigned accounts.
