Our new hires will assist Cimarron in fulfilling its objective of continued steady growth with the highest degree of quality.Our office in Charlotte, North Carolina is searching for a qualified applicant to fill a Claims Supervisory position.Responsibilities of the position include:Monitoring and auditing existing claims adjusted at third party claims administration companies.Working with claims adjusters and attorneys to establish appropriate strategies.Working with claims adjusters to establish next actions and following up to ensure that the claims process is moving forward in a timely manner.Approving reserve increases and providing settlement authority above established authority levels. Obtaining and documenting details on claims activity, authority, strategies, legal opinions and large loss reports submitted by adjusters.Auditing loss runs and check registers, so that funding can be approved to claims administrators. Presenting large losses, large reserve increases and large settlements to senior management for approval. Requirements for the position include:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceMinimum of 5 years of claims adjusting experience in property and casualty claims.Multi-jurisdictional claims experience, coverage evaluation, comparative negligence negotiations and customer service excellence.Strong problem-solving ability as well as communication, organizational, negotiation, computer and people management skills.Previous experience in auto liability, 1st and 3rd party property damage handling, bodily Injury medical evaluations, and attorney negotiations.Experience in general liability and property claims handling is a plus.Overview of Benefits:Competitive salaryComprehensive Health, Prescription Drug, and Dental Insurance for you and your eligible dependentsEmployer Paid Short- and Long-Term Disability InsuranceSimple IRA Savings PlanAccess to Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment10 Paid Holidays per yearVacation, sick and personal daysJob Type: Full-timePay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year depending on experience.Schedule:Day shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Auto Claims Adjusting: 5 years (Required)General liability and property (Desired)Work Location: Charlotte, NC 28226
