Mechanical Design Eng - CREOLocation: Decatur, IL$70K + benefits AnnuallyJOB DUTIES: Concept and develop mechanical components & systems that may include large structural components, hydraulic integration, light structures & fabrications, operator stations, andor engine installation systems.-Work with vendors and suppliers developing, analyzing and fabricating such systems.-Perform structural and thermal finite element analysis for light structure components across various sub systems of the vehicle.- Effectively present and communicate concepts, designs with finite element validation on a need basis.- Work on engine installation, hydraulic designroutings and light structures providing design solutions, drawing reviews (GD&T) and FEA validation using CREO Simulate, Fastener Adviser and Fluid Lines tools.- Delivering on high priority and short-term projects efficiently.Education & Experience Required: - Looking for 3-5 years of experience; internship included - bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (Desired) -First Responder experience Shop floormanufacturing environment experience - Hands-on experience in Caterpillar products, systems, and tools.
