If you're excited to be part of a winning team, Equitable is a great place to grow your career.Responsibilities for Processor UnderwriterWork directly with the insurance agents, team members, and policyholders to modify, update, and process insurance policiesReview and verify personal information including names, addresses, ages, assets, and other data to ensure the accuracy of insurance company recordsAssist in appeals tracking and handlingRequest, follow-up and obtain all needed medical exams and physician plete recordkeeping and data entry to maintain accurate client informationCorrespond with existing and prospective clients via phone and email in accordance with the company policies; documenting all details to deliver the optimal level of customer serviceKnowledge of Florida regulations and complies within guidelines Qualifications for UnderwriterBachelor's degree in Business administration or related fieldStrong math and analytical skills are essential to complete job requirements successfullyFlorida Insurance license 2-15 Life, Health and Variable AnnuitiesExperience working with private and sensitive personal informationExcellent negotiating skills and strategiesAbility to multitask and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneouslyInterpersonal and customer service skills are required when meeting with and interviewing potential clientsStrong computer skills and ability to use necessary softwareConfident in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed
