Job Description:

The staff Oncologist will be responsible for, but not limited to the following duties:Provide expert consultation and treatment to patients in the outpatient HematologyOncology clinic; as well as provide feedback and consultation with the other services The Physician will evaluate, triage, and prioritize requests from Primary Care providers and others for outpatient hematologyoncology subspecialty consultations.They will obtain medical histories, conduct physical examinations, order and evaluate appropriate laboratory testing, and plan and prescribe treatment for patients.The HematologistOncologist will coordinate medical management and care with Primary Care providers and other medical personnel in a multidisciplinary health care delivery system.The HematologistOncologist will perform administrative tasks as assigned, such as peer reviews and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations (OPPE).Provide HematologyOncology on-call services as assigned.
