Title: Project Financial Controller Location: Orlando, FL (Hybrid Onsite- 4 daysweek onsite)Duration: 18 month initial contractCompensation: $90-$98hr Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the US Job Description: Support, manage, and track project financials for various active programs, projects and workstreams across a technology portfolio of platforms and services. Provide technology portfolio financials oversight support responsible for the coordination, rollup, management, and reporting of all technology program and project financials across platforms and services. In addition, this role will help to create and standardize project management financials processes and tools for the project management community. Works in a dynamic, collaborative environment and reports to an Enterprise Technology PMO, Senior Manager, PMO Processes & Tools. Be accountable for budgetplanning, actuals, & forecast processes for both capital and operational expenses for programsprojects based on the project plan, commitments, and contractsSOWs etc., and provide timely and actionable reporting.Support portfolios, programs and projects with high complexity and large budgets (Support, manage and track the project financials for multiple active programs or projects of moderate complexity while working closely with the appropriate Project Managers, delivery leaders and executives.Analyze, measure and recognize the financial impact of various project actions, participate in analyzing and using financial data to identify key project issues, and maintain budget tracking and monitors budget expenditures.Manage complex project financials with frequent interactionsengagement with technology executives, delivery leaders, finance and project managers throughout the technology project life cycle. Maintain budget tracking tools, tracks invoices, and billings, manages fee structures, and forecasts potential gains and losses.Leverage advanced excel and SAP skills to create project financial tools for project managers to effectively manage project budgets, and forecasts.Lead the tracking of detailed financials based on the project plan, commitments, and contractsSOWs (day-to-day financial management of project spend). Interact with the project and budget owners in all aspects of budgets, forecasts, detailed tracking, and analysis variances. Manage small process improvement projects focused on improving project management financials.Provide mentoring and coaching support to other technology project managers. Develop and grow best practices and the influence of Program Management & Execution within our organization with a focus on helping to evolve our use of financial reporting tools and processes. Skillset Experience:10+ years of experience in a Project Financial Controller (Financial Analyst) experience in technology managing costs for programs and project controls (e.g. cost, schedule, performance), financial reporting, analysis, and planning during the project lifecycle.Proven experience implementing project managementfinancial process improvements and tools to effectively manage project costs.Must have proven experience managing multiple project financials, priorities, and tasks across multiple projects and teams - while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high qualityAdvanced knowledge of MS Excel -ability to perform vlookups, pivot tables, and other Excel formulas to design models and reports. (Specific: VLookup, Pivot Table, ModellingReport Building, Sum IFs, IF formulas, HLookUp, Handling large data sets, etc.)Knowledge of project accounting and GAAP principles with extensive understanding of establishing, documenting, reporting, and tracking project financials across multiple technology teams.Establishing, maintaining, and tracking project budgets, and overall cost control.Establishing resource plans and translating resource plans into financial forecasts.Preparing detailed monthly project forecasts, managing project forecast processes, and conducting project review meetings.Presenting financials to leadership.Must have moderate to advanced SAP experience, pulling reports, exporting data, and performing data analysis. Relevant T Codes: CJI3, CN43N, ME23N, KSB1, or any experience pulling cost data.Strong partnering, influencing, and interpersonal skills, including verbal, written, active listening, and communication; high attention to detail; demonstrated ability to influence partners and key business decisions.Experience with accruals, purchase orders, statements of works, etc.Strong knowledge of capital and expense funding types.Demonstrate an understanding of the overall project execution process, including budgeting, project forecasting, cost control, schedule, anticipated cost, etc.Act as an agent of change and partner with clients to understand pain points and champion process improvements.Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills to achieve business results.Experience working for a large company and within a matrix organization preferred. Experience supporting technology organizations using agile practices preferred. Experience with Smartsheets preferred.
