Job Title: Aerospace Wire Harness InstallerLocation: Merritt Island, FL 32952 Area Code: 321 Pay Rate: $70,000 $96,000 (depending on experience)Shift: 1st Schedule: 6am-6pm Mon-Thurs, 8 hour shift on Friday, optional Saturday shift (PAID over-time!)Full time- direct position with benefits An Aerospace Wire Harness Installer job in Merritt Island, FL 32952 is currently available through Belcan Engineering. This position will perform the installation of harnesses containing strain gauges. The project requires meticulous splicing and routing of the strain gauge harnesses, as well as comprehensive checkout, troubleshooting, and replacement of any damaged gauges. Job Duties:· Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and engineering drawings· Able to use hand tools including but not limited to wire cutters, strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers,drills· Able to perform inspections & trouble shooting.· Collaborate with electrical engineers and other personnel to identify, define, and solve developmental problems· Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of parts.· Position may occasionally travel to customer site to install and troubleshoot equipment· Employ good housekeeping on the shop floor· Must be able to work independently and efficiently· Record and maintain thorough, accurate, legible records of all pertinent project information Qualifications:· 5 years of aerospace harness buildInstall experience required· Current IPC-620 certification strongly desired, Space addendum a plus· Previous experience with aerospace cablewire harness Installs required· Attention to detail· Able to use small tools and microscopes· Experience in high mix, low volume electronics manufacturing desired, not required· Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required, US resident or Permanent resident (Green Card holder)· High School Diploma· Associate Degree in Electronics desired, not required We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $70,000 to $96,000 (depending on experience).
