About the OpportunitySchedule: Monday to FridayHours: Standard businessSetting: Outpatient except when on callCall: Rotate every 7 days but there are less than 10 inpatient consults per weeklight weekends and nightsResponsibilities: The Neurologist willDiagnosing complex medical problems by referring to a patient's history, examining them, and conducting neurological testsCounseling patients on neurological disorders and their backgroundOrdering neurological tests and interpreting the results of neuroimaging studiesPrescribing andor administering treatment and medicationMonitoring the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medicationOrdering supportive care services for patientsParticipating in neuroscience research activities.Acting as a liaison with medical professionals in the community and hospitalsKeeping up-to-date with neurological developments, treatments, and medicationQualifications:Current unrestricted CT medical licenseBoard CertifiedEligible in Neurology (MDDO)DEA BLS ACLSAbility to read EEGs is a plusYour privacy is important to us.
