Job Description:

This position maintains all client owned computer equipment including data center, desktop, public kiosk and all peripherals. Responsibilities include the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of computer systems and peripherals. This individual will assist other staff members in researching, analyzing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues that arise daily.We can facilitate w2 consultants for this role. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.Rate: $40 - $50 hr. w2ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis individual troubleshoots, resolves problems, and repairs PC, Mac, and telephone hardware and software. (35%)The individual images, configures, deploys, uninstalls computers and software for end users. The incumbent aids in network connectivity problems. (10%)The incumbent assists individual employees or whole department moves of computer equipment. (10%) The incumbent maintains whole or spare part inventory for rapid response to minimize equipment downtime and assist the asset manager with end of life procedure (decommissioning). (10%)This individual troubleshoots and repairs all network printers and faxes. (10%)The individual troubleshoots, resolves, and repairs all Church-owned computer peripheral equipment. (10%) This person documents and updates time, status, and completion information via a request tracking system andor users, via v-mail, email, or in-person communication. (5%)JOB REQUIREMENTSEducationExperienceAn Associate's degree, and 5-7 years of systems experience are required.KnowledgeSkillsThis individual should be able to work in a fast paced, client service-oriented environment, be self-motivated, and have good oral and written communication skills. Technology SkillsMicrosoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) skills are required. Comp TIA A+ certification (Hardware and Software), Dell, Apple, and Hewlett Packard certifications are required. Advanced PC and Server troubleshooting skills are required. A thorough knowledge of computer operating systems and computer networking technologies is required. Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
